Chicago and Pop Pop

I survived my adventure to Chicago!  WHEW?!  Planes, trains, snow .  .  . it's like walking around in a FREEZER?!  I thoroughly enjoyed the training, and I'm signing up for the next 30 hours of instruction in April.  I told Pop Pop, I was thankful to have the opportunity to follow this dream.  He said you'd always would have wondered if you could've done it .  .  . I'm thankful for parents who continue to encourage me to THINK and DREAM in BIG WAYS!

Pop Pop asked me to the Daddy Daughter dance this past weekend.  Of the 915 participants, most kiddos were five or so .  .  . but we were one upped?!  There was a dad who was 80 years old with his daughter!  Happy Valentines Day, Pop Pop!  I love you.

We were locked out after church today!  It was a beautiful afternoon at the Broam Home .  .  .

Swamp Rabbit Trail

We enjoyed a couple of great days in Greenville, SC!  The Swamp Rabbit Trail was a fun bike ride.  We did the Greenville Zoo to Furman and back (~14 miles).  We camped at Paris Mountain State Park.  Last night we took in a Greenville Drive baseball game .  .  . they didn't win but it was a fun evening anyhow?!  A supper at Grill Marks and breakfast at Stax Original were delicious and quite a treat too!

Lost and Found

Lyddie lost something at camp .  .  . but we didn't need to check LOST AND FOUND?!  Kiddos had a great time at Summer Camp in NC!  Scott, Noah and I enjoyed our trip to pick them up too (Noah did his week at Lutheridge earlier in the summer)!  We hiked to Raven Cliff Falls and then enjoyed a night in Greenville, SC.  Grill Marks serves DELICIOUS burgers and the Falls Park is BEAUTIFUL.  We also took in a Greenville Drive baseball game, and the little bit of rain didn't dampen our fun one bit.  Hope you are having great travels this summer too!

Edisto Beach is ALWAYS Awesome!

We're just back from our fun in the sun!  As ALWAYS, Edisto Beach was AWESOME!  We enjoyed yoga, biking, walking, swimming, watching Atlanta Braves baseball, playing Skip Bo and "Lexingtonopoly."  A good time was had by all.  We thank Grammy and Pop Pop for the opportunity to have a summer vacation on the Carolina coast!
